Terms of use
8 October 2026
These terms describe how you may use Bookwyn's website and timeline tools.
Service and operator
Bookwyn helps you find books and authors, arrange them on a timeline, and share a public link. Bookwyn operates the service. Contact us at bookwynweb@gmail.com.
Accounts and timelines
You can start a guest timeline without an account. Anyone with its URL can view it, but editing access depends on the browser where you created it. Guest timelines expire after 30 days unless you sign in from that browser to claim them. Timelines made through the Bookwyn ChatGPT plugin are initially public and read-only. The first signed-in visitor with the URL who saves one can add it to their account and remove its expiry. Unsaved plugin timelines expire after 30 days. Account timelines do not have an automatic expiry; you can delete your own timelines. Keep your sign-in links and account access secure.
Your content and acceptable use
You are responsible for the names and selections you add to a timeline. Do not include private information you do not want others to see, infringe others' rights, or use Bookwyn to abuse, disrupt, or probe the service. Book and author details come from external public data sources and may be incomplete or inaccurate. Check important details against their sources before relying on them.
Availability and changes
Bookwyn may change or interrupt features to maintain the service or address abuse. Public links may stop working when their timelines expire or are removed. We may update these terms as Bookwyn changes and will show the current version here.
